1990年代後半にhiphopに出会いdjを始める。
hiphop,djin’を通してblack cultureに影響を受けjazz,funk,soul等を吸収し独自の解釈でhiphopを表現する。
hiphopの音楽性,メッセージ性に重点を置き、ターンテーブルを楽器としてとらえ活動中。
現在はオールジャンルスタイルで六本木のCLUB、BARなどで活動を続けている。バイリンガルと言う事もあり、音楽を通して外国人との交流も幅広く、DJとしても外国人クラウドに高い評価を受けている。

DJ SHINICHI started his career lately 1990 after meeting Hip Hop.

His Hip Hop play is influenced by the black music culture, inspired by Jazz, Funk and Soul.

Considering a great importance on Hip Hop musicality and message, turntables is for him the absolute instrument.

Actually resident DJ in clubs and bars in the Roppongi area, his bilingual quality permits him to grow his popularity; highly respect by foreigners and tourists.
