2001年にClub Furaにて活動を開始。
2001年から2004年まで都内、外多くのPartyにて勢力的に活動。club complex CODEでは伝説のParty、SOUND COLLECTION、Saturday Jumpin Disco、Franticなどの週末Partyに出演し多くの海外ＧＵＥＳＴアーティストと共演。彼らから多くのインスパイアを受け独創的で繊細かつア グレッシブにも変化する自由なPlay Styleをもつ。
2004年-2006年に活動を休止。
現在は活動を再開し、自身の音楽 の未来のビジョンを再構築し様々な角度から音楽活動を行っている。その一環としてオランダ、アムテルダムから発信されているインターネットラジオ Trance.fmで自身のMixを毎週金曜の夜8時から2時間にわたって放送中。(“In Love for Trance”@Trance.fm)
オリジナルトラック制作にも力を入れており、現在最も目が離せない女性DJの一人である。

Mao was born in Tanegashima (a small island in the south of Japan). She lived in Tokyo for 10 years. She started DJing in 2001. At that time, trance music was becoming popular in the clubs of Japan. When she was playing many clubs, she organized a party. “Club complex CODE” was her home ground. It was a big club. Many famous overseas DJs were playing there every weekend night.

Between 2004 and 2006 she took time off, then she restarted DJing in 2006. But everything changed. Many clubs and parties were gone… Since she started spinning again she’s been looking for her place… Now she spins at random times, when someone books her for a gig. She had her own radio show “In love for trance”. You can listen to it at trance.fm every Friday from 1300 till 1500 CET.(www.trance.fm)

Also, she makes her own music now. Her style is progressive trance, trance, house, and electro. She’s always enjoyed DJing. She hopes someday, she will have the opportunity to spin all over the world. She will send love to you with her mix.
